Where is the Best Place to buy Computer Parts?

Jan 21, 2016

After buying every brand, shape, size and style of computer part my choice is Amazon.com. Why? First of all they have everything under the sun to choose from. You can get the part in two days or pay more and get some parts the next day. Even paying extra for next day delivery will still cost you less than buying local. Almost as important are the customer reviews. Almost every product will have dozens of real reviews. In some cases the reviewers will explain a minor problem with the product and how to adjust it.

Here at the computer doctor Boise just like any other business I have an Amazon prime account. Come on! for $99 a year I can get most parts delivered in two days for free. Just as a side note Amazon prime members get prime video streaming for free. Why pay Netflix when Amazon has the same movies to choose from. The return policy is unbelievably easy. After you open the product put the box away in a place you can find it later. If there is a problem with the product you either call or get online and ask for a return. They will within a few hours Email you a packing slip. You just put the product in the original box, put a copy of your receipt in the box,put the new slip over the packing slip addressed to you and drop it off to what ever company UPS or USPS they used to deliver it. If you request a refund the money will usually be back in your account within 48 hours. If you want a replacement it will arrive in two days. www.amazon.com

You might want to shop newegg or another company just to see if they are having a sale. Most of the time Amazon will have the best or same price. I have not been impressed with newegg when I have needed to make a return. I run a small local business and I am all about shopping local. The problem is these local businesses here in Boise Idaho just charge too much. I needed a power supply for an all in one computer. I could not find it locally but they could order it for $189.00. I got it from Amazon for $69.00.
