As part of my business I try to keep a steady supply of desktop computers for sale. I go through all my computers and check the hard drive, the CPU, CPU fan, power supply, USB ports and DVD/CD optical drive. I like to try and keep only business class desktop computers. They are just made to last longer and be more expandable. Below is a list of my current inventory:
Dell Optiplex 780 Quad core with 8 GB ram and the customers choice of hard drive size. I can also add a solid state hard drive that is affordable.
Dell Optiplex 790 Quad core Pro workstation with an i5 quad core 2400 Intel turbo boost processor. 8GBram and expandable to 32GB. Hard drive size is up to the customer.
At this time most people prefer windows 7 for the operating system. Windows 10 is available upon request. I usually like to use either Sandisk solid state hard drives, Adata or Crucial. Solid state hard drives are from 5 to 10 times as fast as the mechanical hard drives. Most solid state drives come with a 3 year warranty.
